Embarkation

Priority 

All passengers requiring special assistance shall embark first: 

  • Incapacitated passengers (stretcher, wheelchair C, S, R cases, passengers with injured legs, blind and deaf passengers without/with accompanying dog)
  • Medical cases who need pre-boarding – MEDA
  • Deportees (DEPA and DEPU, if needed)
  • Inadmissible passengers – INAD
  • Very important people – VIP, if the wish was so expressed
  • Unaccompanied minors – UM
  • Passengers with an extra seat for cabin baggage
  • Diplomatic couriers – Transit passengers
  • Other categories of passengers who need pre-boarding (i.e. group of children, families with children, pregnant women, senior citizens, etc.)

Embarkation over the platform (ramp)  

Passengers walk the distance between the airport building and the aircraft or are transferred to the aircraft by bus. If baggage identification is required before boarding the aircraft, passengers shall be informed thereof.

  • Procedure when passengers are transferred by bus

All passengers shall be called simultaneously. Unaccompanied minors, mothers with infants and incapacitated passengers (if not already transferred otherwise) get on the bus after the others, get off before them and having identified their baggage (if required), they board the aircraft first.  

  • Procedure when passengers are walked to the aircraft

All passengers shall be called simultaneously.  Unaccompanied minors, mothers with infants and incapacitated paxs shall be separated from the others and accompanied to the aircraft before other passengers start leaving the airport building.

All passengers shall be called simultaneously.  Unaccompanied minors, mothers with infants and incapacitated paxs shall be separated from the others and accompanied to the aircraft before other passengers start leaving the airport building.
